Solar D Stand: Architect Expo Thailand
We were commissioned to design and build a bespoke exhibition stand for Solar D at Architect Expo Thailand, held at BITEC, Bangkok. As one of the region’s leading trade events for architecture and construction, the exhibition provided an ideal platform for Solar D to showcase their range of solar solutions to a highly targeted audience.
The objective was to create a clean, modern stand that would highlight the products while reflecting a strong, urban-inspired aesthetic. The design needed to balance visual impact with simplicity, ensuring the technology remained the central focus.
About Solar D
Solar D is a Thailand-based provider of solar energy solutions, offering products and systems designed to support efficient, sustainable energy use. With a growing presence in the renewable energy sector, the company focuses on delivering reliable and practical solar technologies for both residential and commercial applications.
Their brand is centred around innovation, accessibility, and sustainability—key elements that informed the overall stand design.
The Brief
Solar D required a stand that would clearly present their product range while maintaining a strong visual identity in a busy exhibition environment.
The key requirements included:
Product Focus: A layout that highlights a range of solar solutions without visual clutter.
Clean Design: An open, minimal structure that keeps attention on the products.
Urban Aesthetic: A concrete-inspired finish to create a modern, architectural feel aligned with the event.
The Challenge
Architect Expo Thailand attracts a wide range of exhibitors, from material suppliers to technology providers, making it a competitive environment for attention.
The challenge was to create a stand that stood out through simplicity rather than complexity—using clean lines, material choices, and layout to draw visitors in, while ensuring the products remained the focal point.
The Result
The final stand delivered a refined and contemporary presence, combining an open-plan layout with a strong urban design language. Concrete-style finishes provided a distinctive architectural feel, while the uncluttered structure ensured maximum visibility for Solar D’s product range.
The space allowed visitors to engage naturally with the displays, creating an easy flow around the stand and encouraging interaction. By stripping back unnecessary elements, the design successfully directed attention to the solar solutions on display.
The result is a clean, confident exhibition stand that communicates Solar D’s offering clearly and effectively, while aligning with the modern, design-led environment of Architect Expo Thailand.
